Spring

This may not look like much but it is the reason why humans have inhabited Gallagher's Cove for possibly 7000 years. This spring provides fresh water. Campus by the Sea used it from 1951 to the late 1980's. We now get our water from a reservoir located on the top of Santa Catalina Island. This spring is located about half a mile up canyon past a flood control screen and an ugly clump of poison oak.
